Tera ik ishara pa ke ban gaye aalam sare ne; Tera ik ishara pa ke phutte jal de dhare ne. Meri tan eh himmat nahin ey teri soch vichar karan; Dil vich eni takat nahin ey taithon jaan nisar karan. Oho kam suchjja ey jo samjhen changi kar toonhi; Avval akhar kayam dayam ik toonhi nirankari toonhi. |

O’ God, with Thy single divine gesture, the multi-faceted universe came into existence; With Thy single divine gesture the fountains of water sprang forth. I am not capable to contemplate and describe Thy infinite entity; My heart is too feeble to sacrifice my life unto Thee. Only that act is pure which meets Thy approval; Thou Formless One-Nirankar art immortal and eternal. |
Meaning
With thy direction, the entire universe was created in a moment. Only with the support of your love, the river ebbs and flows. The ability to think about you is beyond my understanding. The heart does not have the strength to surrender my life to You. Only those deeds are true which please you. Avtar says, you are One and the only One who was in the beginning of times and will remain till the end of times.
